Do you offer teletherapy or online services?
Yes, I offer both online and teletherapy sessions for clients who prefer this option. You can select the option to do the session via teletherapy or online when you book the appointment. I use Zoom, a secure and confidential video conferencing platform, for online services. Once you schedule an appointment, I will send you a confirmation email that includes a link to the Zoom session. You can access the session through your computer, phone, or tablet. During the appointment, we'll be able to see and hear each other as if we were in the same room. I'll provide you with any additional information you need to ensure the online session is comfortable and effective for you. Can I use the Mental Health Plan referral for subsidised sessions with a counsellor?
Unfortunately, the Mental Health Plan referral is only available to mental health social workers and practicing psychologists. As a counsellor, I do not have access to it. However, I want to assure you that my rates are highly competitive and accessible even without the subsidy. While the average cost of a psychologist ranges from $180 to $260 per hour, the Mental Health Plan only covers $90 of this cost. In comparison, my rates are designed to be affordable and competitive without relying on external subsidies. I'm committed to helping you access the care you need at a price that works for you.
How do I book an appointment with you?
Booking an appointment with me is quick and easy, and can be done through my online booking system on the front page of my website. Simply click on the "Book Now" button, and you'll be taken to a page where you can select the type of service you need, choose a date and time that works for you, and enter your contact information. Once you submit your booking request, I'll review it and confirm the appointment with you via email. How do you take payment for counselling sessions?
We offer two options for payment: before or after the session. If you choose to pay before your session, you can use our in-browser payment methods when booking your appointment. If you prefer to pay after your session, we will send you an invoice within 24 hours of your session, which you will have seven days to pay. We accept all major credit and debit cards, and our payment process is secure and confidential. If you have any questions or concerns about payment, please don't hesitate to contact us.
Am I able to claim a rebate for your services through private health insurance?
At the moment, I'm not registered with any private health cover providers for rebates. In order to become registered, there are certain requirements and a minimum length of time that the business needs to be established. However, I'm actively working towards fulfilling these requirements and plan to be registered in the near future. I understand that private health rebates can be an important factor for some clients, and I'm committed to making this option available as soon as possible. In the meantime, I strive to offer competitive and accessible rates to all my clients.
